  • Receiving a newsletter from your local market and advance news on food events and shows

  • Receiving invitations to visit producers and to special events

  • Volunteer opportunities to support local producers and your local Farmers’ Market.

Your local Farmers Market needs your help to:

  • carry out price comparisons with similar supermarket produce to challenge the perception that produce at Farmers’ Markets is expensive

  • help with activities like Apple Days, Christmas Markets etc

  • set up and run a food sampling table - the producers give the items to sample, but volunteers are needed to set up the tables, cut-up the foods,

  • talk about who made them, and keep the table clean and neat.

Do you have a talent you’d like to make available to us? Perhaps helping with fund raising or ... perhaps you are a lawyer who would be willing to check legal agreements.

It’s a great way to meet like minded people and a big help to producers.

Your comments and suggestions on how to make farmers’ markets better will be welcomed!
